Company Loyalty
By admin | January 9, 2008
As the marketing manager of a food company, my friend Carlos is studying an industrial organizational psychology online course which is financed by his company. Their company believes that the further training of their employees would improve not only the employees themselves but as well as the company’s status and condition. They do not only provide their employees’ schooling but they are also given the privilege of joining seminars and symposiums which tackle about their field of work, to broaden their knowledge about it. Other are sent abroad for some more advance trainings to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Though the company has done a lot of good things for the employees, Carlos told us that some of his officemates are planning to resign and apply on a company that gives a higher salary. He admitted said to us that though their salary is not as big as the other companies’ give they are given a lot of benefits that the others don’t provide. Still he is very happy because he loves what he’s doing and is very satisfied on how the company handles its employees. Even though a lot of his officemates would resign, he would stay because his loyalty and dedication is into his company.
